Veterans Initiative Partnership (VIP) for Hospices and Palliative Care

AUSTIN, TX — March 31, 2026 — We’re proud to introduce the Veterans Initiative Partnership (VIP) — a new program dedicated to strengthening support, education, and collaboration for those serving veterans in hospice and palliative care.

VIP is designed to bring together hospice providers, VA organizations, community resources, vendors, and healthcare professionals to create a strong, connected network focused on honoring and caring for our veterans.

Here’s what you can expect as a VIP partner:
• No cost to join and open to all organizations and individuals
• Access to education and training through webinars, conferences, and regional seminars focused on veteran care
• Opportunities to connect and collaborate through networking and VIP Community highlights
• A growing referral network of trusted partners supporting veterans
• Recognition of your commitment, including a VIP certificate upon registration

To stay active in the program, partners are asked to:
• Attend at least 3 meetings per year (virtual or in-person)
• Engage and contribute during at least one meeting annually

To participate:
• Register on our website to receive event invitations and updates (if you are already on our roster you don’t need to reregister): https://www.txnmhospice.org/vip/
• Designate a Veteran Liaison for your organization
• Keep your information current by contacting [email protected]

We also encourage partners to become members of TNMHPO for added benefits, including discounts on educational events.

Together, we can build a stronger community and ensure veterans receive the care, respect, and support they deserve.

Join VIP and be part of something meaningful.

Education Subscription

The TNMHPO Education Subscription is for agencies who wish to provide on-demand education for the entire staff. This subscription is an add-on to a TNMHPO membership and can’t be purchased separately.

A TNMHPO Membership Plus Education Subscription gives members of the Texas New Mexico Hospice & Palliative Care Organization unlimited access to all archived online education for the entire year.  You can provide training to your current staff and utilize these educational opportunities for new employee orientation.  There are courses for every discipline on your hospice team and continuing education units and proof of attendance for Administrators, Nurses, Social Workers, and LPCs.

The optional education subscription may only be used by staff of the joining hospice agency, not to train partners, affiliates or sister organization staff. If your hospice is part of a home health, then the home health division will need to pay its own dues and education.

TNMHPO reserves the right to limit users if we feel the system is being misused.

  • Over 100 recorded online training courses for all hospice disciplines
  • Eligible for Continuing Education Units
  • Customized certificates for CEUs
  • Available on-demand, on your schedule

The TNMHPO Education Subscription is 10% of your annual membership dues plus $650.

When purchasing your membership, select the “Education Subscription” option in the drop down on the membership product page.
