6 HRS • RECOMMENDED5 Classes -- 6 hours of Professional Education with CEUs awarded. Taught from leading industry experts. This training is appropriate for chaplains.
Chaplains often have received little training specific to care of the dying or working in an Interdisciplinary Clinical Team. Over the course of the past year, a TNMHO “Chaplain’s Development Committee” was formed to dialogue with medical professionals and hospice chaplains, conduct surveys of administrators and of chaplains, and to research the needs for improving spiritual care of the hospice chaplain. In response to the identified needs and concerns, the CDC developed these trainings. These specialized topics will focus on the needs particular to Hospice Chaplains and the Spiritual Care of the dying.
