Hospice Education - Bereavement Coordinators

Hospice Bereavement Manager / Coordinator Training

Taught from leading industry experts, this hospice bereavement manager training is appropriate for bereavement coordinators and managers wanting to understand more about starting, maintaining and improving your bereavement program.

Many bereavement coordinators have received little training specific to care of the dying or working in an Interdisciplinary Clinical Team. A TNMHPO Bereavement Coordinator Advisory Group was formed to create dialogue with medical professionals and hospice bereavement coordinators, conduct surveys, and to research the needs for improving bereavement care to patients. In response to the identified needs and concerns, we are pleased to provide you with Texas New Mexico Hospice & Palliative Care Organization’s special Hospice Bereavement Manager Training. These specialized topics will focus on the needs particular to Hospice bereavement coordinators/managers and the challenges of the job.

  • The Good, The Bad and The Ugly: Working with Guilt and Shame in End of Life
  • Facilitating a Healthy Grief Process
  • Coping with Death: A Child’s Perspective
  • Generational Grief: How Builder, Boomers, Gen X and Millennials Grieve
  • Your Bereavement Program: Solid Ground, or Shifting Sand?
