A hearty discussion of Supportive Palliative Care in home and community settings. This session will discuss the definition of supportive palliative care; and will provide guidance for home and community support services agencies that are considering development of a compliant supportive palliative care service delivery model in the home and homelike environment. The speaker will provide an overview of the necessary policies and procedures as well as a discussion to compare the philosophies for supportive palliative care and hospice.

This presentation will cover how to discover what is most important to partnering organizations who have a vested interest in quality palliative care programs. We will look at measures that matter to hospitals and specialty clinics and ways to approach them, build a relationship and with measured success ask for funding for increased staffing.

A TNMHPO Membership Plus Education Subscription gives members of the Texas New Mexico Hospice & Palliative Care Organization unlimited access to all archived online education for the entire year. You can provide training to your current staff and utilize these educational opportunities for new employee orientation. There are courses for every discipline on your hospice team and continuing education units and proof of attendance for Administrators, Nurses, Social Workers, and LPCs.
The TNMHPO Education Subscription is 10% of your annual membership dues plus $650.
