Territory – Current Counties Serviced:  Bell, Bosque, Coryell, Ellis, Falls, Freestone, Hamilton, Hill, Lampasas, Leon, Limestone, Madison, McLennan, Milam, Navarro, Williamson, and Robertson.

On Call – back up to primary: 1 night per week and rotate weekends (about 1 weekend per month). Killeen has 2 Primary on call nurses that rotate 7 on and 7 off. $41.25 per weekday / $100 per weekend

Salary – $75,000 – $80,000

Hospice Registered Nurse RN Qualifications:

Associates degree, preferred
Registered Nurse license required in state(s) practicing
Previous experience in hospice, home health, general medical surgical, oncology or patient population specific (i.e.: geriatrics, pediatric, etc.)  nursing
Must have reliable automobile, valid driver’s license, and the minimum state required liability auto insurance
Meet the regulations and requirements of the State in which the program provides services (ie: Current and valid CPR certification, preferred – required in Georgia, Minimum one year of experience, preferred  – required in California)

The TNMHPO Education Subscription is for agencies who wish to provide on-demand education for the entire staff. This subscription is an add-on to a TNMHPO membership and can’t be purchased separately.

A TNMHPO Membership Plus Education Subscription gives members of the Texas New Mexico Hospice & Palliative Care Organization unlimited access to all archived online education for the entire year.  You can provide training to your current staff and utilize these educational opportunities for new employee orientation.  There are courses for every discipline on your hospice team and continuing education units and proof of attendance for Administrators, Nurses, Social Workers, and LPCs.

The TNMHPO Education Subscription is 10% of your annual membership dues plus $650.
