VITAS has been caring for seriously ill Texans and their families for more than 30 years. Interdisciplinary hospice teams deliver care to patients in great Dallas, Ft. Worth, Houston and San Antonio. Whether to a ranch, in a trailer, a nursing home, assisted living community or city condo, VITAS brings hospice home. If patients need more intense care, we provide up to 24 hours/day of Intensive Comfort Care® in the home and inpatient hospice care when home is not enough.

VITAS cares for fragile patients and manages care transitions: from hospital to home, from curative to palliative, from chronic to end-stage. VITAS lengthens the continuum of care and helps families cope with serious illness by providing palliative and hospice consults and care, medical equipment, medications and supplies. We accept Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance, and admit all hospice-appropriate patients referred to us, regardless of ability to pay.
