Cypress Basin Hospice was founded in 1986 by a group of local civic minded individuals who envisioned a community centered organization that supported their friends and families through the difficult last weeks and months of an illness. Our first patient was admitted into service in 1989 and at the time Cypress Basin Hospice’s initial service area were the four counties with tributaries along the Cypress River – Camp, Franklin, Morris and Titus. Over the years Cypress Basin Hospice has expanded to proudly serve the 16 counties of Northeast Texas through our three offices in Mount Pleasant, Paris, and Sulphur Springs. Known for its commitment to quality care, community, education and integrity, Cypress Basin Hospice has met and exceeded the expectations of its original founders. Proud of its “not for profit” status, Cypress Basin Hospice remains true to the vision which led to its development- “Neighbors Helping Neighbors”.
Our friendly and professional staff is dedicated to caring for individuals touched by life limiting illness, grief, and loss. We offer a wide range of services to every patient and our hope is that we are able to relieve the physical, emotional, and spiritual pain patients and families are suffering from. We emphasize compassion, dignity, independence and respect throughout every asset of our care and for decades we have been the area’s premier not-for-profit, community owned agency. Cypress Basin has a proven track record and will go above and beyond to ensure that you and your loved ones are always cared for to the highest degree. You can rest assured knowing that patients and families are being served by one of the oldest and most respected hospice programs in Mount Pleasant, Paris, Sulphur Springs, and all of Northeast Texas.
